About Me

Hello!

My name is Alexis, I am a passionate and dedicated registered nurse with three years of experience in the nursing field. I began my career in 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a medical surgical nurse. Over time, I transitioned into a surgical pediatric nurse, where I discovered my love for working with children. However, my experience as a nurse during the pandemic was difficult and overwhelming, as I constantly worried about keeping my patients and family safe from the virus.

I realized that I was not alone in my struggles, and that many nurses felt isolated and unsupported during these challenging times. That's when I decided to create Nursaholic, a platform where nurses can come together and find the support they need. I want to create a safe space where nursing students and new graduate nurses could ask questions and get help without feeling ashamed or intimidated.

I understand how tough it can be for new graduate nurses to navigate the healthcare field, and that's why I created areas on Nursaholic to help with important skills like resume building, stress management, and skills development. Through my dedication and commitment to helping others, I have been able to become a valuable resource and mentor for nurses at all stages of their careers.
